For many FBLA-PBL members, the NFLCs are a convenient and affordable way to experience much of the education and excitement of an NLC.

Job Shadowing- FBLA students have off site opportunities to experience what difference jobs would be like in our local community businesses and how those business are run. Best Buy has been a local supporter of Tyner Academy, giving our students hands-on experience in all aspects of their business. This experience allows our student to meet the managers and businesses staff prior to ever applying for a position with a company, thus giving them an extra advantage if a student  wanted a job at one of our job shadowing companies. This is one of our best field trips of the year.

Field Trips- Wow, what fun we have…our field trip offer job opportunities for our students. Introductions to possible future career choices, fun and learning activities,  public speaking opportunities, and  building friendships. Last year’s field trips where to Best Buy, three trips to Blue Cross /Blue Shield and Counsel Fire.

Community Service – FBLA students regularly support a variety of local organizations within our community, March of Dimes (premature babies), Ronald McDonald House(kids with cancer), Dolly Pardon’s Imagination Library (a reading program for children) and cleanup your campus activities just to name a few. Students every year decide what organization the club will support. http://tnfbla.fbla-pbl.org/default.asp?p=11
