Biotech Engineering
Ever think about solving a crime, building a car that utilizes alternative fuel, building an aquaponics system, designing a hospital or surgical instruments, designing cardiac devices, building joints, building an electrocardiogram building, and wondered how to go about it? Then Biotechnical EngineeringTM is the course for you.
The course is an overview of the various fields associated with Biotechnical EngineeringTM (BE). As all the units relate to one another, you will apply what you learn to the design and construction of an aquaponics system, a DNA museum, a yeast mobile, a joint, a stent, and even an ECG. There is flexibility for you and your teacher in constructing the various prototypes. You may do them as simulations or as real-world experiences that biotechnical engineers encounter when solving problems. The course covers the following:
- Stock Portfolios
- Forensics
- Biofuels
- Aquaponics
- Biomedical Devices
